Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, which is the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) for online shops.
What we have done
Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline. Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content. Colour contrast of text meets AA on every background. Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers. Headings follow a logical order. Forms have labels and error messages. The site has no motion that cannot be paused and respects the reduced-motion preference. No content is delivered only by colour or only by sound. The checkout is provided by Stripe, whose hosted page is itself built to WCAG 2.1 AA.
Known limitations
The BOX NOW locker map is a third-party component embedded from BOX NOW's servers; if it is not usable with your assistive technology, choose home delivery or write to us and we will book the locker for you. Some Journal images are photographs whose alternative text summarises rather than describes every detail.

If you find something that does not work for you, email [email protected] with the page address and what happened. We reply within five working days and fix genuine barriers as a priority. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the market surveillance authority for accessibility in your country; in Bulgaria this is the Commission for Consumer Protection.
